Life to the Full

How do I live my life to the fullest? How can I make it count the most? These are questions I’ve wrestled with for years. I believe the answer is like a puzzle, and I will keep finding new pieces that add to the picture until the day I die. I didn’t know it at the time, but in the fall of 2023, when I first started working at Happy Brew, God was using this job to give me another piece of the puzzle. Happy Brew and my friends here have changed my life.
When I look back over the years I’ve spent here, it has been the simple moments, the spontaneous dance parties, the hilarious pranks, the giant hugs, the deep talks, the sword fights with brooms (don’t tell Courtenay), that have touched my heart the most. Because of work, I’ve also been able to make so many more memories with my coworkers outside of the shop that I will treasure my whole life. Whether its driving down 1st street blasting Hakuna Matata, playing soccer on the beach, joking about asking out girls, taking cool photo shoots, daring each other to sing karaoke, or the phone calls I get in the morning just to see how I am doing, my friends here have become more like family. They have been a piece of the puzzle for me and have taught me so much about life. Every day, they show me how to live more fully, how to love more unreservedly, like Jesus. Who cares what people think? Let’s have more dance parties! Let’s give our friends the warmest welcome when they walk into the room. Let’s sing karaoke at the top of our lungs. Let’s go out of our way to check on the people we care about. Let’s join arms with our brothers and sisters who are mourning. Let’s love without worrying what others might think, let’s try to live life as fully as we can. Let’s make our short time in this world count.
